Food was amazing! Service was great staff was friendly and helpful. My husband got the chicken fried chicken, Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. He said everything was really good and well seasoned. The biscuit and jam were top notch! I got the wings, fries and coleslaw. Wings are breaded and crispy. I wish I would’ve asked for well done because I like them really crispy but they were still really good! Fries and coleslaw were good as well. Would definitely go back!
Not fancy at all, but one of my favorite restaurants in the Smokies. I bought 4 piece chicken strips, fries, fried apples, and a biscuit with apple and strawberry butter for 14. Their food is top notch too. We went on Friday night during Memorial Day weekend and there were only a few people there. Definitely a hidden gem.
This is just a really nice down home fast service restaurant. The facilities are first class with outside dining and they’ve even made a place in the back by a stream if you want to eat with your pets!! Awesome! The food was really, genuinely great and very hot and it seemed really quick from the time we sat at our table to when they brought us our food. Delish! It was in a not so cluttered, hardly a traffic at all. This became our go to Chicken spot!
Everything is made with love and from scratch, even their jams and ranch dressing. And everything is perfect. They really know how to cook, and season their food to perfection. The chicken is perfect, the best I’ve ever had. All of the sides are perfect. The jams are perfect. The service is superb and perfect.
Listen. Holy moly! Tuesday 10/01/2024, we drove 11 hours to spend a week in a cabin in Gatlinburg. After that drive, cooking was last on our list. Just down the road from the cabin is a place called Mama's Chicken Kitchen. And man! It did not disappoint!!! My daughter and I got the 2 piece leg and thigh. She got mashed potatoes and green beans. I got mashed potatoes and cole slaw. My middle son got the kids turkey and cheese with fries, and cookie, and a drink. My oldest and youngest sons both got the kids chicken strips and fries, a cookie, and a drink. My wifel got a chicken fried chicken with white gravy, green beans, and mashed potatoes. We also bought a jar of their homemade peach butter and then pretty much ate the whole jar at breakfast the next day! Absolutely fantastic!! This will be on our top list of places to eat when we come back!
Very accommodating staff. I called asking about an allergen menu due to having food allergies and the manager went the extra mile. She actually went into the kitchen and read through the ingredients of everything so I that I could have confidence in knowing that I wouldn't have an allergic reaction. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially to individuals with food sensitivities.
The BEST fried chicken! Generous portions with incredible flavor. Some of the best fried chicken we've ever had! The chicken and dumplins was delicious, hand-mashed potatoes with homemade gravy to die for, and the cinnamon apples rounded it all out with a sweet treat. Also, the homemade jams for the biscuits is amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly. It felt like being home!
